Bordeaux.. the wind storm

So this is my post for the day.. I am going to talk about my trip to Bordeaux..
What a trip it was. We went on the weekend that hosted a storm that the City hasnt seen since 1999. Yeah thats right the 10 year storm.. It was crazy.. I think i have a picture of Natasha's umbrella being destroyed by the wind. But I had a blast actually. Running around with no plans isnt really my style but I tried and I enjoyed myself. We wanted to go to a winery, vineyard whatevers and well that just didnt happen. Which is cool. We stayed in a hostel fit for college students. Oddly enough old people seemed to be the biggest population at this hostel. Our tour guide became the receptionist who worked in New York for a Model and was pretty happy to host us.. He raved about America and told us that the French def dont hate us. So it was kinda weird being "that American group " but I loved it. I don't know how many pictures I have of me smiling but there are def some of me just looking uhhh.. blah.. I like taking those kinds of pictures. Any way.. so the only thing that I wanted to buy was a nice bottle of wine that I could collect.. Yeah thats me I want to collect wine.. So I found this awesome wine shop and learned I dunno everything one should know about starting a good collection. I picked up a few bottles and and done spending money.. Its official I have enough wine for a few significant birthdays.. If you want to know the better years more recent years are 2003,and 2005.. If you can afford it.. :) Uhhhh oh yeah .. so after this crazy Storm our train to come back to Nantes was cancelled yeah that's right.. I think a tree feel and they couldn't pick it up.. so we were stuck in Bordeaux. What an awful predicament.. Not really. We stayed in an actual Hotel and well the shower changed my life.. how?! Well it reminded me that you can always start over.. I don't have time to explain that but yeah. Wow i can really ramble.. I want to end this with a quote that I love.. since Abe Lincoln seems to be all the rage
“You have to do your own growing no matter how tall your grandfather was.” --Abraham Lincoln (1809-1865)
